Finding Your Perfect Fit

Last Updated: July 15, 2026

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processes. The most current version will always be posted on this page.

At CADShirts, we’re committed to providing high-quality, Made-to-Order apparel and a transparent shopping experience. Choosing the right size is one of the best ways to ensure you enjoy your new CADShirts apparel from the moment it arrives.

Because every product is made specifically for your order, we encourage you to review the sizing information carefully before completing your purchase.

Start with the Size Chart

Every product page on CADShirts includes its own manufacturer-specific size chart.

Because different garments are designed differently, always refer to the size chart provided on the specific product page you are purchasing.

Avoid assuming that your usual clothing size will fit the same across all garment styles.

How to Find Your Best Fit

The most accurate way to choose the correct size is to compare the measurements of one of your favorite garments with the size chart provided on the product page.

Step 1

Choose a T-shirt or hoodie that already fits you comfortably.

Step 2

Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface without stretching it.

Step 3

Measure the garment and compare those measurements with the size chart shown on the product page.

This method is generally more accurate than selecting a size based only on what you normally wear.

How to Measure Your Garment

For the most accurate fit, compare the measurements of a garment you already own with the size chart provided on the product page.

Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface without stretching it, then measure it as illustrated below.

  • Body Width (Chest): Measure straight across the garment from one armpit to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

Always compare these measurements with the manufacturer-specific size chart shown on the product page.

Understanding Our Measurements

Our published size charts are based on garment measurements, not body measurements.

For the most accurate comparison:

  • Measure a garment you already own.
  • Lay it flat without stretching it.
  • Compare your measurements with the size chart for the product you wish to purchase.

This approach provides the most reliable fit.

Manufacturing Tolerance

Every garment is professionally manufactured and individually sewn.

As with all apparel, slight measurement differences are a normal part of the manufacturing process.

A manufacturing tolerance of approximately ±1 inch (±2.5 cm) is considered standard within the apparel industry.

These Natural Variations are expected and are not considered Manufacturing Defects.

Different Garments Fit Differently

CADShirts offers several garment styles from different manufacturers.

Each garment has its own unique characteristics, including:

  • Fabric weight
  • Material composition
  • Garment cut
  • Overall fit
  • Stretch
  • Intended style

For this reason, a size Large in one garment may fit differently than a size Large in another.

Always refer to the manufacturer-specific size chart provided on each product page.

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes:

For a closer, more fitted look:

Choose the smaller size.

For a more relaxed or roomier fit:

Choose the larger size.

Personal preference plays an important role in choosing the size that’s right for you.

Before You Place Your Order

Before completing your purchase, we recommend that you:

✓ Review the size chart on the product page.

✓ Compare the measurements with a garment you already own.

✓ Consider how you prefer your clothing to fit.

✓ Double-check the size you’ve selected before placing your order.

Taking a few extra moments now can help ensure you receive the size that’s right for you.
