Designed for the fabricators, CNC operators, and draftsmen who live in the high-stress, high-precision world of manufacturing, this Machinist Stress Strain Hoodie is a highly accurate reflection of your daily grind. Built on a breathable fabric, it is comfortable enough to wear whether you are running G-code or staring blankly at a shattered end mill.

  • Material: 50% U.S. Cotton / 50% Polyester. (Note: Heather Sport colorways are engineered with 60% Polyester / 40% Cotton).
  • Fabric Weight: Midweight 8.0 oz/yd² (271 g/m²) fleece, featuring a double-brushed interior for superior thermal retention and a plush hand-feel.
  • Yarn Construction: Engineered with specialized air-jet spun yarn, delivering a softer surface while significantly reducing friction-induced fabric pilling over time.
  • Construction: Classic tubular body construction (no side seams), quarter-turned during manufacturing to eliminate center creasing, and featuring a spacious front kangaroo pouch pocket.
  • Hood & Trims: Double-lined hood with a color-matched adjustable drawcord. 1×1 rib knit cuffs and bottom band infused with spandex for enhanced mechanical stretch and shape recovery.
  • Stitching & Tag: Reinforced with durable double-needle stitching at critical stress points, finished with a grey pearlized tear-away label for a scratch-free interior.
  • Color Display: Due to individual monitor calibrations, device screen settings, and digital studio lighting, physical garment colors may vary slightly from on-screen mockups.

Care & Sustainability
  • Wash: Machine wash cold (maximum 30°C/86°F), inside-out, on a gentle cycle with like colors. Washing inside-out protects the print from abrasive mechanical friction against the washing machine agitator.
  • Detergent & Chemicals: Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, as the chemical surfactants actively degrade the binders in the eco-friendly water-based inks, causing the print to peel or fade prematurely. Avoid bleach; use non-chlorine bleach only if absolutely necessary.
  • Dry: Hang-drying is highly recommended to maximize the lifespan of the printed design and prevent heat-induced fabric pilling. If you must use a machine, tumble dry on the lowest possible heat setting.
  • Iron: If ironing is necessary to remove wrinkles, iron inside-out on a cool setting. Never iron directly on the printed graphic.
  • Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean under any circumstances. The harsh chemical solvents will rapidly strip the DTG ink from the garment.
  • Ethical Manufacturing: Manufactured with 100% ethically grown US cotton within WRAP-certified facilities, ensuring safe and lawful labor practices. The textiles are colored with low-impact dyes certified by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, ensuring safety against harmful substances and a reduced environmental footprint.

Global Fulfillment & Canadian Customs To ensure the most efficient delivery, your made-to-order apparel is routed to the fulfillment facility closest to your location. However, based on specific size and color inventory, some Canadian orders may be manufactured in and shipped from our United States facilities. Please note that Canadian shipments may occasionally be subject to import duties or provincial taxes (GST/HST) assessed by customs authorities upon arrival. Any such import charges are strictly the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Exchanges

Because every CADShirts item is custom-printed specifically for your order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues or buyer’s remorse.
